Shell has interests in the Val d’Agri field (Shell interest 39%), which has been in production since 1996, and in the Tempa Rossa field (Shell interest 25%), currently under development. We also have 100% interests in nearby exploration prospects. Offshore, we have interests ranging between 55% and 70% in six exploration blocks in the Sicily Channel. In September 2010, we farmed into two more offshore exploration blocks adjacent to the existing ones. The deal is pending final approvals by authorities. In April 2010, Shell was awarded interests in two offshore exploration licences situated in the Gulf of Taranto. The agreements remain subject to final approvals.
